Kanyakumari
It is known as The Lands End of India, where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. This is a spectacle to watch the sunrise, sunset and the moonrise over the ocean. It also has a temple, a memorial to Gandhi and a good museum on Swami Vivekanandas life. You could either travel by train or hire a taxi.
